Abracadabra by Brown Eyed Girls

This is dubbed as the most sexual explicit themed music video from South Korea, beating all Lee Hyori's controversial sexy music videos. When I first watch it I don't get the message and think: "Geeez, it's over publicized". But when I start to watch it for the second and third time, including the Live performance, I GET it.

So here it is, Abracadabra by Brown Eyed Girls

What do you think of the Brown Eyed Girls? Because of this video, the Wonder Girls news are faded away in the forum and Korean-related internet forums and blogs, because everyone is talking about this banned music video which portrayed too many obscene sex messages (and explicit postures!) even to the Western standard.

But what makes this phenomenon so interesting is the Boy Bands in South Korea start making lots of parody on this music video. And one such ridiculous example is as shown below:

Soooo effing hilarious isn't it? I laughed until my heart aches, oh my.

Wonder girls are cute even though their dance moves sometimes are sexy, but when parodies are made they are not as disgusting as this one.

this reminds me of Joe of Jonas Brothers doing parody on Beyonce's Single Lady. Ewww, that is gross! guys please don't wear leotard-like outfit, it's just gross. Period.

Anywho, I have to admit that the dance moves are very interesting and everybody is doing it, LOL

The Fallen Princesses

Dina Goldstein is a much acclaimed photographer whose create works never fail to aspire and inspire others. I love this particular mini project of hers, Fallen Princesses :)

Face the realities, even the princesses are not living a "happily ever after" life.

Re-post from here: JPGMAG

These works place Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The '...happily ever after' is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues.

The project was inspired by my observation of three-year-old girls, who were developing an interest in Disney's Fairy tales. As a new mother I have been able to get a close up look at the phenomenon of young girls fascinated with Princesses and their desire to dress up like them. The Disney versions almost always have sad beginning, with an overbearing female villain, and the end is predictably a happy one. The Prince usually saves the day and makes the victimized young beauty into a Princess.

As a young girl, growing up abroad, I was not exposed to Fairy tales. These new discoveries lead to my fascination with the origins of Fairy tales. I explored the original brothers Grimm's stories and found that they have very dark and sometimes gruesome aspects, many of which were changed by Disney. I began to imagine Disney's perfect Princesses juxtaposed with real issues that were affecting women around me, such as illness, addiction and self-image issues.

There are 2 more to be shot for this series which is going on exhibit on Oct. 15/09

I was attracted by the Snow White's shot so I began to search for its series :)

Married Snow White's life
Our typical imagination on reality faced by the princess after married: the Prince is lazy at home, a messy house with pets roaming around, and lots of children or babies to look after. Bingo!

The Sleeping Beauty and her prince in the Old Folk's home, so unfair because she still retains her youth by sleeping, LOL

Little Red Riding Hood gets fat with McD food XD

Rapunzel has cancer that made her proud long hair fall off.

Jasmine goes to war (because she's froma Middle East-setting story, LOL)

Cinderella gets wasted at a dive

Belle needs plastic surgery to keep her beauty and youth.... I somewhat disagree with this because Belle is my favourite princess who comes from a poor condition but does not dreamed to go to Prince's party like Cinderella yet willing to risk herself to be with the Beast. So I think she has the most beautiful heart among the princesses so I don't think she will go for plastic surgery, LOL

Leopard print for Spring! How about Giraffe?

David Jones Spring/Summer Fashion just launched in Sydney and I guess something really inspires me:

Leopard print skirt and the same motif slouch-sleeves dress at the back.
Floaty skirts and bold patterns were the look for spring/summer in the Gorman collection. Photo by Getty.

Even Miranda Kerr is flaunting in leopard motif dress!

OK, so I can't sell this off YET, not after Spring, LOL.
Though it is not fully leopard, the Giraffe motif is also good lah, haha.
May be I will just keep it simple~

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson

Do you love Emma Watson?

From Italian Vogue.
I prefer Vogue than Vanity Fair and whatnot, the style and idea of this magazine are my cup of tea regardless who grace the cover.

Also from Italian Vogue, she looks lovely with the harp

She looks so not her age here!

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson. That is the full name of Emma Watson, sounds french and she was born in Paris indeed (and her grandma is a french) :)

I like this girl more and more as she grows up. Not only she is a straight-A student in real life, she has a personality which I like.

She looks thin in this photo

From her official website: http://www.emmawatsonofficial.com/

I love the thing on the left side :) I believe it's a bunch of things that she likes or related to her: Eiffel Towel of Paris, iPod/MP3 player, rose, sunglasses, butterfly, ice hockey bate, shoes, and Матрёшка doll (I wish to have this doll one day, being amused by it since little ^^)

I love her Burberry ad very much!

She looks awesome in Burberry ads

Gawd! Look at this gorgeous trench coat! T_T

Emma and her brother Alex who is 3 years junior than her

For Harper's Bazaar

Her typical teenage look for Harry Potter movie premier
But in the latest installment's premiers she looks gorgeous in gowns :)

For Cosmo girl magazine
Reminds me of Swan Lake's princess^^

For Demi magazine
She looks smoking hot!

I really want to see her more in modelling careers

I have lots of her pichas in my hard disc XD
I support her to go ahead with her plan to go to college, despite the fact that her career in acting and modelling is already a young superstar achievement. Kudos to her ambition as a beauty with brain :)
