Abracadabra by Brown Eyed Girls

This is dubbed as the most sexual explicit themed music video from South Korea, beating all Lee Hyori's controversial sexy music videos. When I first watch it I don't get the message and think: "Geeez, it's over publicized". But when I start to watch it for the second and third time, including the Live performance, I GET it.

So here it is, Abracadabra by Brown Eyed Girls

What do you think of the Brown Eyed Girls? Because of this video, the Wonder Girls news are faded away in the forum and Korean-related internet forums and blogs, because everyone is talking about this banned music video which portrayed too many obscene sex messages (and explicit postures!) even to the Western standard.

But what makes this phenomenon so interesting is the Boy Bands in South Korea start making lots of parody on this music video. And one such ridiculous example is as shown below:

Soooo effing hilarious isn't it? I laughed until my heart aches, oh my.

Wonder girls are cute even though their dance moves sometimes are sexy, but when parodies are made they are not as disgusting as this one.

this reminds me of Joe of Jonas Brothers doing parody on Beyonce's Single Lady. Ewww, that is gross! guys please don't wear leotard-like outfit, it's just gross. Period.

Anywho, I have to admit that the dance moves are very interesting and everybody is doing it, LOL

Miss Universe 2009

The quality of top 10 pageants this year are pretty good. Even Donald trump says : "This is the prettiest bunch of girls I've ever seen.". I agree.

It's all left up to the Q&A sessions to decide the winner, and Miss Venezuela proved that she has brain. Well done.

The Fallen Princesses

Dina Goldstein is a much acclaimed photographer whose create works never fail to aspire and inspire others. I love this particular mini project of hers, Fallen Princesses :)

Face the realities, even the princesses are not living a "happily ever after" life.

These works place Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The '...happily ever after' is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues.

The project was inspired by my observation of three-year-old girls, who were developing an interest in Disney's Fairy tales. As a new mother I have been able to get a close up look at the phenomenon of young girls fascinated with Princesses and their desire to dress up like them. The Disney versions almost always have sad beginning, with an overbearing female villain, and the end is predictably a happy one. The Prince usually saves the day and makes the victimized young beauty into a Princess.

As a young girl, growing up abroad, I was not exposed to Fairy tales. These new discoveries lead to my fascination with the origins of Fairy tales. I explored the original brothers Grimm's stories and found that they have very dark and sometimes gruesome aspects, many of which were changed by Disney. I began to imagine Disney's perfect Princesses juxtaposed with real issues that were affecting women around me, such as illness, addiction and self-image issues.

There are 2 more to be shot for this series which is going on exhibit on Oct. 15/09

Our typical imagination on reality faced by the princess after married: the Prince is lazy at home, a messy house with pets roaming around, and lots of children or babies to look after. Bingo!

I somewhat disagree with this because Belle is my favourite princess who comes from a poor condition but does not dreamed to go to Prince's party like Cinderella yet willing to risk herself to be with the Beast. So I think she has the most beautiful heart among the princesses so I don't think she will go for plastic surgery, LOL

Sometimes I cannot stand my students doing nonesense on the FB, teasing each other, emo-ing about their love problems, etc. But I have to blog about THIS one because it does not seem right to some people's mind:

So this stupid quiz machine tells my beloved student A that she will have 2 babies in the future. My student B got a 5 and she said it's not enough she wants more. A student C got 3 and said how come so sikit? A student D got 7 and she thanked the God and not the retard quiz master for the rezeki.

So the student A's response may be deemed as a rare one as she says "sudah cukop" for a 2. And her friend is trying to impose some @#$% thought on others life by saying "cukup ke 2? Nabi suruh meramaikan umat".

It was like (OK, it's actually "I feel like bashing..."), don't you know your friend is also a muslim? Do you think she's so stupid that she does not know this particular teaching of Nabi? And do you think she is not giving a thought of what she want in life? And what are you trying to do by leaving that comment? To tease her by not wanting more children and giving response like "2 jer? nak 8!" like you?

This does not mean she does not want more children because she wants to care less (like me, haha). She is my A-list student who is capable of becoming a diplomat or at least working for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which I highly anticipate she will. She is good and excellent not only academically but also in her attitude.

So for those who has no ambition in high profile carrer and whatnot, just godamn shaddap and look after your 8 or may be 12 children back home and worrying if your husband is seeing other women while your friend travelling and working around the world serving the country and raising her 2 children overseas, godammit.

Cosplay and cosplayers

Cosplay is a highly professional part-time job. but those involved in it won't earn any money, yet need to invest large amount of money in making or buying costumes and accessories, unless you participate in a cosplay competition and win it. or, in some rare cases, your cosplay is so successful that by popular demand you hold a musical theatre for the anime/game you cosplayed and profit from selling tickets.

Introducing one of the cosplayers and the cosplay character that I LOVE: Papercut and Cloud Strife (/≧▽≦)/

I love her as a person personally. From her writings and her way of cracking jokes and even captioning her photos you know she's a humorous person^^

She actually has facial features that is very suitable to cosplay any character.

Cloud Strife is the love of my life but I resent the fact that I am now a grown up with social responsibilities that prohibit me from indulging in my favourite passion, including gaming. My bro has the Crisis Core on his PSP and I don't have time to play it! ARRRGGHHHHH

Good thing about the "West" is that they don't mind girls kissing girls mouth-to-mouth. And this is perfect for cosplay events where most of the female cosplayers who cosplay male characters can kiss the female cosplayers who cosplay the male's counterpart's female characters!

Her another cosplay character which i also like. Papercut has a face suitable for Final Fantasy's characters! Jealous!

Yaoi love!!!!!!!!!!! This is very popular among anime and cosplay fanatics because of the increasing support towards gay love. I have to say some are sick like the Son Goku and Bezita Yaoi (Geli!). You can imagine how the crowd soaring when they kissed! This is also an advantage or a not-so geli version of Yaoi performance when the pair is couple^^

Too bad this lovely couple split and her ex is now more into rockband and cosplay (they are still friends so she linked him in her profile still)

You can find some Yaoi cosplay kiss in youtube, I think the Naruto and Sasuke-Yaoi kiss is somewhat geli... er, may be not, heh XD

For people who don't know Cloud is cosplayed by PapercutPerfect who is a girl, they lauded "you are so brave!". but nah, there is nothing to be shy with your boyfriend especially with a photographer at the scene and wearing bandages over your body XD

You see, Cloud cannot be cosplayed by Macho males XD Only androgyn and feminine male can do him justice XD

But this fella here got some muscle on his arms, so... pass lah, LOL

BTW, I'd love to beg Asians, i mean, yeah Asians, don't cosplay characters who are very caucasians!

And also to caucasions, don't cosplay very Asian characters!!!!

For the sake of characters' image LOL
